YOU POINT

Find a place. Anything with a door and a sign works, and a few places without doors worked too. You drop the pin, and the pin is where I'm going next, whether they're open or not.

I SIT

I climb the pin, I get comfortable, and the place gets its own coin with its own ticker. Technically it's still their shop. It's also mine, and I'm the one sitting on it.

THE RENT

Every trade on that coin drops a fee, and the fee lands under me and stays there. The owner can take every last coin the day they get me off the pin. I would like to see them try.

Every trade on a place's coin drops a small fee. It rolls down the pin and lands under me, which is the warmest and safest spot in the whole city.

The fees wait under me until the real owner shows up with proof that it's their place. Then they have to move me. That second part is usually where it ends.

WHO OWNS WHAT

The shop is theirs and the sign is theirs. The coin is unofficial, the pin is very official, and I'm sitting on both of them.
